Pandora IPO tomorrow

What's everyone think? It's a solid company. I have the annual subscription too, and I've been using Pandora for 4 years or so.

I think what's different about some of these latest tech IPOs compared to the bubble years ago, is these companies have been around much longer now a days and have to prove themselves more.

"Pandora Media shares will debut on Wednesday after the opening bell. The streaming media company plans to issue about 14.68 million shares at a proposed price range of $10 to $12 a share."

Totally. I listen on phone, computer, etc. I got all my stations pimped out perfect. I think I've found more new artists on Pandora, than anywhere else.

I bet it closes around 18 to 20 bucks and people getting in early cash out early after a high of 22. Wild guess.

I'm thinking for a more long-term buy and hold investment.

Oh now... Pandora Media Inc. priced its initial public offering late Tuesday at $16 per share — above its recently raised range of $10-$12 per share — signaling strong investor demand for the streaming media company.

never buy an ipo the first few weeks. it will either fly up in price and you will rpobably not get in at a good price. if you think the company is solid, let the stock settle after a few weeks and then get in.

the only people that make a killing on an ipo that does well are the guys with lots of money that get in pre ipo through their brokers and then sell the first week...

Seems like the stock market isn't really for the retail investor anymore. All news I hear is that the "retail investors got wiped out" etc. You see companies open the day with a straight line going up or down, it's just impossible for someone who isn't a hedge fund manager to take the same kind of advantages.
