A lot of facebook users think they are undetectable when they post because they are using facebooks mail servers but they dont realise that facebook keep and sends the IPs of every notification when you send messages or whatever to other users.

Do they think that? I bet most don't even give it a passing thought.

After all they have used their real name, given intimate details of their personal lives and where they work, often WITH pictures and so concerns about concealing their IP address is probably not so high on the list

I know non webmasters who have more than one account using other peoples pics so they can post all kinds of crap to people who block them or they dont like.

Yep if you are a hacker or webmaster but most of the every day facebook user dont use them when they make multi accounts

Easily. Send the person you want to find out the IP address a link to some picture stored at your host. Then simply check your server logs
