Cinema Erotique has just released its first animated erotic movie "Barbie's Washday". It features the animated dolls of Barbie, Cindy and Ken in a porn parody.
The movie took over a month to film frame by frame. Before filming started the crew hunted down rare items for Barbie, like underwear, furniture for the bedroom, and of key importance to the plot a Barbie washing machine. The set was built in a day for a few pounds but the major cost was the animators and the 300 kilowatt electric bill. The set had to be lit for a month.
Asked why Cinema Erotique wanted to make an animated porn movie the director Cherry Chapman said." We want to make films in that gigantic space between porn and the normal media".
