The mortgage meltdown was due to the acts of MANY people. Some, obviously, were more innocent (albeit their greed party fueled the collapse) than others. Still, there was some FRAUD mixed in.

People are now going to jail for some of the mortgage fraud: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/43357456/

Gotta start somewhere. It's not like in the movies or video games where Big guys get taken down quickly and the system works so smoothly.

lets see... For the ones IF convicted for 5 years still walk with several several millions in the bank, they will have attorney's to fight any sentence...

I would do 5 years for several million no problem...
