In NYC the welfare guys get free metro cards to ride the busses and trains... Medicaid will even pay for a van to pick you up, take you to your apointment, and take you back home.

hahaha its a bit like that by me, except the bus drivers are polish, theyre drunk and if you say you arent paying they dont say anything.

Used to see this crap all the time, always black high school kids, trying to scam free bus rides. The bus drivers always bowed down to them because it was always a 5 vs 1 ordeal. They would always try to sneak in the back door too when someone would be exiting at a stop.

Yes, "Hasselt" in Belgium.... They raised taxes and gave people free bus rides.... and people cheered... apparently you can get them to give up their freedom in exchange for bus tickets
