depends on the niche, and how you are trying to package what your selling. Videos get much more views for the most part, however.

Our photo sets, amateur girls, get tons of hits, repeat views in members...Videos do fine but photos seem to really have biggest numbers...We have a model 'Friday' that does really, really well. Most popular girl right now.

I like photos too, often more than the vids...

We still do well from our pictures which is why we focus on them more then our videos.

If both are what you are looking for and both are high res then video wins out. Pics are good but vids go to the next level, all other things being equal

Interesting to see this thread, as a month or so ago there was a thread where it was concluded that only 1% of surfers are looking for images and 99% for videos; I couldn't be bothered to disagree at the time

I think that the future of websites is video. I am concentrating on this more. Look at the most popular sites on the net - all video tube sites

I took a small poll of 15 of my male friends over the last couple of days. None of them are in the adult online business, or adult businesses at all. We've had convos before re porn, porn stars, collecting, viewing, etc.

Of the 15, 8 have joined 1 or more adult sites online in the last 2 years.

All have porn 'collections' that they have gathered from the free online sites or the pay sites. It appears that 99% of what they have gathered is still pictures.

All 15 stated that they prefer still photos to videos (I did find that odd that all of the 15 stated the same thing), and continue to collect and add to their digital collections daily/weekly/regularly.

Maybe its an age thing as well, all 15 are between 35-55. Porn preferences seemed to run across a few gamuts, but pretty girls, milf types and porn stars was the dominating niches.

One of the most interesting points that was made several times from a few was the idea that with photos you can have fantasy sex with more girls in one 'session' than with a video. Maybe that is just feeding the male programming to seed as much as possible.

Just thought I would share my results.

Our sites post both from our original content and when we purchase content we try to get both as well, all though most providers that we have found tend to offer packages of one or the other.

I shoot both and give equal importance to both. As a content provider, that is a must for me.

But Im always curious which gets downloaded more and by which demographic. This question is more posed to the program owners. They actual have this kind of data at thier fingertips.

We have a couple of affiliates that have Photo tgp traffic that do really well. In fact they tend to have better rebill ratios than video.
