Data recovery software

So one of my external hard drives is fucked and my computer doesn't recognize it anymore. The problem was due to a power failure.

Any of you guys know of a good data recovery software I could use for this?

Is this the software? http://www.file-recovery.net/

Also this good for external hard drives?? I see nothing in the website about external hard drives.

I found a software with great reviews called "Digital Rescue Premium" any of you guys ever used this one?

I have used "Get Data Back" to successfully pull data from multiple failed drives.

I tried at first with "GetDataBack for NTFS" as my laptop is running on XP but didn't work and I got a message telling me to try with "GetDataBack for FAT" maybe because I'm working on an external drive???

Anyways lets see if this one gives me any results
