Anyone watching the Casey Anthony testimony about browser history?

Holy shit!

Have none of these people ever heard of TABS!?!?!

If someone loads page A and then loads page B 30 seconds later, that doesn't mean they only spent 30 seconds on page A unless they clicked from A to B.

If someone performs search X and clicks result links A, B, C, D, etc etc - the time between clicking links is NOT indicative of how long the surfer was reading the page- ESPECIALLY since the search page was not reloaded between results.

I want to punch my own face.

Dunno why media and the law are blowing time and money on this shit. The case is clear cut and dry, and obvious. Guilty.

Its a million dollar industry now...
All of it could have costed nothing more than 5 ounces of lead and some gun powder.

It's very possible that she could get off with a lesser charge. I was listening to Opie and Anthony the other day and they had some interesting theories. She was giving the kid Xanax to make her fall asleep so she could go out clubbing, so it's possible the kid accidentally overdosed. It's also possible that the kid woke up and accidentally fell in the pool and drowned. From there the narcissistic piece of shit that Casey Anthony is she tried to cover it up. Her main issue is that she is such an unlikeable piece of trash that she is not gaining sympathy from the jurors...

The duct tape is what makes it stand out as not being accidental death. There were 3 strips of duct tape wrapped around the head covering the nose and mouth as well as one strip of duct tape around the torso restraining the child's arms. It might not have been premeditated, she might have done that to her kid in a rage, but I can't see why she would do that to her child's body after an accidental death. I don't think the jury will either.

For sure I don't think they are going to give her the death penalty even if they do get her on murder 1. Shame on the prosecution for not bringing it up themselves but I don't think I'm being too harsh in expecting people who make their money off mining data / forensic computer history evaluation to bring up the use of tabs when being questioned on the time a user spends on a page.

I think though that if that's the deal that's what her defense needs to come out and say. Right now they are playing this angle that her dad sexually molested her, which there's no evidence of and jailhouse letters and boyfriends that tend to contradict, and that the dad finds the body, doesn't try to save the baby, and then he hides the body? It's just too much.

I think the better thing for her defense team to have done would have been to either be to take the coo-coo angle, or just come out and say look, she's not a good person, she was drugging her kid, she accidentally killed her child, she felt no one would believe her so she covered it up to make it look like a crime.

I think they are trying to absolve her of too much. It's pretty uphill battle to own up to her lying to everyone about everything, the cops, her parents, her friends, her lovers- everyone under the sun about things she didn't even need to lie about- but then expect people to take her word and hang it on her dad.

Also the reason this thing grabs my interest is it's local and I'm 2 degrees of separation from it all.

She's gotta be a fucking nightmare to defend. I'm sure she has lied to her defense team from the beginning and it wouldn't surprise me if she was pushing them to go with this defense. She is such a narcissistic bitch it seems like she refuses to take an iota of blame, so she lies and throws her dad under the bus. You gotta feel sorry for that guy, not only is his granddaughter dead he is most likely being falsely accused of molesting his daughter. That's a tough pill to swallow. I agree, and I think if they do return a guilty conviction she may hve a case for appeal based on inadequate council, since Baez also has an ego problem and has never tried a death penalty case before. He seems to be making procedural errors like ignoring the deadline to file for suppression of the jailhouse tapes, bringing up subjects in his line of questioning that damage his clients character like bringing in her 6 felony convictions and the pot residue that was in the trash bag in the car, etc.

If I were in her shoes I would go to trial as well.. she'd be an idiot not to... all you people saying why have a trial etc etc... thats easy to say with your not the defense....

but remember you can be guilty as ass hell and as long as you never admit it... it's up to them to prove beyond a reasonable doubt... and sometimes thats hard.. very hard... they are humans to.. if they fuck up once your off scott free..... so when your guilty your better off taking your chances and letting other humans fuck up and get the case tossed...

I bet 6 bucks that something is going to be fucked up with this case... some evidence is tainted... something... just wait.....

I am going to keep my personal feelings about the cunt to myself.... but from a legal standpoint... she has every right to have a trial... and I hope she beats the system personally.. not that I like her... I just like to see the system get beat
