    Have you watched HBO's Game Of Thrones yet?

    Damn I just watched the first 7 episodes over the weekend and I have to say I'm hooked. It's edgy like Spartacus, but with leanings towards Lord of the Rings. Sex, medieval violence, and possibly dragons.

    It doesn't get much better than that.

                                      The first 7 episodes are sitting in the VOD section of Shaw Cable. Like I said I watched them at my leisure over the weekend, but now I'm left hanging. HANGING!

                                      Pillars of the Earth was a pretty good series too, but this takes things to a greater level than that... more sex, the violence is far more graphic, and here there be dragons. Well, I think here there be dragons, there certainly is a lot of hinting going on about them anyway. And there's midget sex, incest (twin brother-sister no less), a couple of beheadings, an eye popping out of a guy's head, a dagger through another one's eye, a couple of whores do a nice lesbian scene on a bench, and a stupid kid who won't listen to his mother get's slapped out a window leading to the surprise of his life. ha

                                      Yep, I'm definitely hooked.

                                          It's one of the few times a series is actually better than the books. Martin is a great 'world creator' but his dialogue is not so great and the screen writers did an excellent job of improving it for him.

                                          The casting is simply brilliant. If that midget doesn't get an Emmy (or at least half an Emmy) he got robbed!

And yes, the girls are very hot, Daenerys is teh hotnezz, but I love Lena Headey (the Queen) since the first time I saw her
