Ditto. But I think I'm just a night person.. try going to sleep around 4-6pm and waking up around midnight. If I can stick to that schedule I've noticed I have a hell of a lot more wake time to get things done and also more productive.

3am to 8am like clockwork. I don't even use an alarm clock anymore. My body naturally wakes me up at 8am...it's fucking weird.

I generally set my alarm for exactly 8 and a half hours after I go to bed... Accounting for 25-30 minutes to fall asleep.

If I have to be up early for something, I'll try to go to bed 8 hours before that and take sleeping pills.

Getting less than 5 or 6 hours of sleep every night is a good way to put yourself into an early grave. I try for 8 or 9 every night but usually get just under 8.

It's funny because sometimes I am staying up through the night or sleeping 12+ hours. So I get both "Do you ever sleep?" and "You're alive!".

I sleep anywhere from 3-5 hours a night if I am very lucky. I don't wake up to an alarm clock and haven't for years, I just wake up when I wake up, but it's never later than 7:00 AM and I never go to sleep before 2-4 am. I go to bed when I get sleepy and wake up when I have slept... if I sleep more than 5 hours I am as cranky as anyone else that hasn't gotten their 8+ hours.

I will have maybe about 1 day a month where I pull a marathon sleep, but I am always a major bitch after I wake up from that and I feel like crap for a day or two after.
