Anyone knows a software that can do this?
Hi,
I have some directories that cannot bne deleted on my hard disk...because I don't have the permission to do it. The problem is that I never changed the permission of them. Does anyone knows any software that could delete them? I use win XP pro. Thanks all. |

You don't have admin access to your computer?
Start it up in safe mode and see if you have more users. You probobly have the "original" adim user that you don't see in the veiw that your running XP. Start up your computer with a win98 start up disk in the A:\ drive, go in and delete them manualy through DOS. Change your view from the fancy graphic user login page to the win2k view, you will have more control over how many users you have. |

Doubt it.
In your XP set up, it makes TWO admins. one at the begining and one at the end. your most likely using the latter of the two. Start you computer up in safe mode.. you'll see. |

I've had the same problems. if you go into the CMD prompt and do a dir/s/a you will see a bunch of fun stuff that Bill tosses on your computer. There WILL be an extra admin user that DOES have control to everything on your computer.
Check it out.... |
