Vanilla Sky... I thought it was going to be lame...

but, whoah. I really didn't expect that. I am aware it's a remake, but I never saw the original either.

again.. whoah...

Anyone else see it and like it?

it was the kind of film where as more time passed and it sat in my brain I liked it more and more. Do see the original though..even better and Cruz is so much better in her native language.

Yeah Vanilla sky was a great movie

if you haven't seen Requiem for a Dream you'll like that one too

oh and Run Lola Run is also a good one, you have to watch it a couple times cause there is so much involved and it moves fast

I especially liked the sound track to Vanilla Sky. Seemed like the perfect songs at the perfect moments in the movie. Good flick.

if there is one thing Cameron Crowe knows it is how to music in his films.

i've never seen it, so i can't comment. someone commented on Requiem for a Dream - one of the best movies made in the past 10 years.

I am with the people who like Vanilla Sky. I, too, thought it was going to be a boring, sappy chick flick. I was so pleasantly surprised that it was so many movies in one... the romantic comedy, the thriller, the dark fantasy, and then sci-fi. Well done, all around. Daring, too, not to follow a hollywood formula.

this movie was crazy... my girlfriend saw it on satellite and then we rented it, and i was expecting some chick flick.
but then it gets all twisted and sci-fi.
