I wanted to see Heat vs Thunder in the finals just because I want Heat to win and they would easily, and meanwhile I'd get to watch Westbrook and Durant thrown down some amazing plays/shots.

lol, his highlight footage does look like one shot over and over. Gotta be hard to defend a guy that tall when he's shooting a fading jump-shot.

Dallas an Miami will be interesting, I'd like to see Dallas win but won't put any money on it. Miami can be just to good.

I'm still not a fan but I have to hand it to him he's playing his ass off. I still think Chandler, Terry and the rest of the bench are the key. They are playing amazing and Dirk has basically no pressure on him to be a star any more.

The Heat don't have much to worry about with Dallas - will win in 5 or 6. I don't think it will be a great final.

It has been five years since the Heat and Mavs made their one and only trip to the NBA finals and what a memorable final it was.

Dirk Nowitzki and Jason Terry looking like they would carry Dallas to the title until Dwyane Wade took the Heat on his back and carried them to a championship.

Not everyone believes Wade did that alone.

If you believe the Mark Cubans of the world, the Mavs had that series taken from them by the officials who actively aided and abetted Wade at every step.

Cuban, the Mavs owner then and now, watched his team take the first two in that series on home court, get giddy at the thought of a title, then travel down to Miami and become completely unglued over the next three.

His problem? He was convinced every time Wade had the ball and his Mavs had the audacity to defend him, they were called for fouls.

Cuban, never one to stew silently, had a meltdown during and after Game 5 and paid handsomely to the league offices for it.

By Game 6 back in Dallas, Cuban had calmed down but the Heat rolled on, winning 95-92, and celebrating an NBA championship on Dallas’ court.

Heat vs Mavs in the finals.

Dallas is playing an exceptional basketball this playoff. JKidd really pushing the tempo (even at age 38), Chandler securing the post, Marion can go to SF to PF, Terry the reliable 6th man, and JJ Barea (the xfactor) relieving JKidd with quality minutes. And of course the 7 foot German guy.

He can adjust his style depending on the opponent's defense. Put Bosh in there and he'll pull out of the permitted for a one legged shot. Put Lebron on him and he will put in those German low post moves. You hack and foul him? Don't try that, he is shooting 96% for the foul line vs the Thunders.

I want Miami heat to win though, Juwan Howard needs to win a title.
