    Finally broke down and bought a TV.

    Went to get some blank CDs and, while picking my ass, saw one of those flat screen
    gizmos for $250. It was made by #@#%&&, yeah that's how good I knew the name.

    I picked one up and while heading to the door I saw a big guy standing there and
    decided that it would probably be better to go ahead and just pay for it.

    Got home and threw out my trusty 15 year old 25 inch and plugged the new one
    in after breaking a mad sweat looking for the AC cord connection and playing
    wanga-wang with those fucked up mounting screws for the base.

    Turned it on and answered a few questions and after a while the picture
    came up.

    Damn! This 32 inch cheap shit looks good.

    I might actually watch this TV.

    Shit, at least once a week.

    Quit being hardcore and go ahead and buy one of these things.

                                                          I watch blueray films and tv series... some cable documentaries. believe me it's well worth it... and don't forget as a video shooter and editor a large monitor is part of my editing system

                                                          and I have the screen in a back room that I only go into, to watch shows

                                                                  I'm looking at a painting on my wall that is 48x36(width x height), so
                                                                  I have to think of it as putting the TV on the wall.

                                                                  I put this TV on a regular TV stand.

                                                                  I guess TV stands are some old shit too and that's going to go away.

                                                                  Yeah, a 65 inch TV is just stupid on a stand.

                                                                  Makes more since on the wall, duhhhhhhh!

                                                                      My LCD broke some time last year.... So I got the Verizon protection plan... They came out and fixed it a couple of months ago. But it didn't actually fix it, whatever they did... So it took many weeks to finally get the fucker fixed. Several times in the shop.

                                                                      Now I am a happy camper.

                                                                      Football better fucking happen this year!

                                                                              But I paid a lot less than the price listed on their site. It has apps on it, I have Hulu Plus, Netflix, Blockbuster OnDemand, Pandora, and a bunch of other services.

                                                                              And it's 1" thin. The 46" is the perfect size for my living room setup.

                                                                                                                      exactly the same here. in the new house i am building i had them put a hole thru the wall from my office to the living room. i am planning to mount a 42" lcd on the living room wall and a 32" lcd on the office wall so i can play movies, cartoons, etc simultaneously in my office and living room. remote babysitting
