for the most part this stuff will end up filtered out by various anti-virus / anti-malware sites as being a security hole.

We will see. Its something what the surfer selects and downloads himself and he can also disable or uninstall it.

I am interested is there skim or any link code replacements for upsells that might code outbound from a members sections?

Thx :D its pretty cool stuff, something what makes members for sure pretty happy. This way you can serve your members with all kinds of info within them to login back.

Today we implemented a "panic button" and an auto update feature. The "panic button" will hide the toolbar and load google.com.

At this moment we made the toolbars for our members only. Of course we investigated ways to also offer this in the near future also for affiliates

Don't think it will be filtered out. These toolbar extensions are not resistant even when you uninstall them.

There are are no stealth adware or hijacking techniques involved in these extensions, they simply serve the purpose for our members to be notified about updates and whats happening online, nothing more

So far only positive reactions from our members, the Panic button is also integrated and works well. Pretty satisfied here :D
