Keep in mind many countries have very swift justice not long incarceration. That being said I totally agree with your point. I commit numerous "crimes" every day. I think the revenue stream of our justice system requires it.

And now that the local and state govt. are going broke as well...they have ARMIES of damn motorcycle cops pulling over soccer moms everywhere here in Vegas.

My guess is those cops realize that their jobs are about to be axed.

But the really bad part of it is how fucked up they have made traffic laws these days through their greed. Back in the "Mayberry RFD" days, you got pulled over for a traffic ticket and paid $30 and it was over.

A couple of months ago I got pulled over doing 47 in a 35 (the speed limit changes from 45 to 35 right beside the Texas Station Casino and that's where he was set up to fuck people) He also gave me a ticket for failing to use my turn signal when switching lanes (it's a six lane road)

That little bit of nothing? It was going to be EIGHT POINTS against my license! Talk about a field day for the insurance companies

And that's where the local govt. here in Vegas is really fucking up. They are pulling soccer moms over by the hundreds everyday here. And families are struggling to make it...and then get hit with high dollar tickets AND outrageous insurance rates.

And just who are these cops "serving and protecting" by doing that? Nobody but themselves.
