My point was if I don't know someone why would I recommend them..And you would be surprised how many people do use services of those they met at a show..

I'd sooner do biz with a friend than someone I don't know.

Sometimes it really IS important to go to adult events. I've done real well making deals at late night parties on many occasions.

Does this make you exempt from losing money when the people who piss away money on lavish show presences go belly up? I think not, but hey at least they were stand up guys and threw great parties.

I choose who I do business with based on what their website says and what my own research confirms. I have processed very happily with Zombaio for over 3 years now. Never met anyone from there, never had any interest in doing so.

I appreciate that everybody does business differently, but seriously, by limiting who you do business with to who has been to one of your parties or you have met a rep from personally, you are surely missing out on a lot of opportunities.

...and Robbie, it is not that long ago that you were processing with somebody charging you over 20% or possibly higher remember?

So you of all people should see the benefit of dealing with people who run tighter operations..... even if you haven't got drunk with them in a strip bar :)

i've heard it before. old people learned to do business the old fashioned way - let's sit down and have a meeting over dinner before i process my sales with you.

web people do business at a higher rate of speed. i would have the processor set up and be 7 tasks down on my list before they finished their cocktails and talked about details i learned in 3 minutes on the website.

do business any way you want Robbie. it doesn't make it the best way. i know a lot of dinosaurs preaching about the old days, but life is changing fast and this new economy isn't leaving any room for seniors.

that's how i see it anyway..

I never said I wouldn't use Zombaio and maybe CC Bill is more expensive but I know nothing about them nor have I met them.. I would be open to speaking with them and Michael is going to introduce me...But it is hard to do business with a faceless company for me.. just my thoughts.. everyone can disagree and of course this gfy so people will lol

Dinosaurs? OLD people?

Dude, I run circles around you every day.

As far as how I do business...I do most of my business without ever meeting anyone. Including using Zombaio.

What I said was that I have made MILLIONS of dollars cutting deals with guys partying our asses off late at night.

Whether you believe it or not...FRIENDS give their friends the best deals and the best inside info.

If you had something that was going to make some money...and all other things being equal you had two guys that you could choose to cut in on the deal and one was a good friend...who would YOU cut in?

You'd cut in your friend of course. That is how ALL business works.

So while you had the processor set up and 7 tasks down in one day...I did 100 times more shit and THEN went out and met up with some owners of companies and cut some more deals.

I'll sleep when I'm dead. :)

That wasn't from partying with somebody...that was Humboldt bank whom I've never met before.
I've never gotten drunk with a processor.

And I think I pretty clearly said in the beginning of this thread that I use Zombaio and LOVE it.

What % do you save using Zombaio compared to CCBill?

https://www.zombaio.com/rates.asp

CCBill is 20% and a $750 up-front fee and $500 annual fee for Visa I believe

I keep CC Bill way down the line in my NATS cascade for affiliate sales. 99% of my sales there are done with my own merchant account and Netbilling as a gateway.

I use Zombaio only for my type in tour.

I rule out anything regarding Zambaio or any processor for that matter. No cut on Zambaio...
If a processor can survive 5 years without cutting themselves then it's time to consider them as viable. Processor's come and go way to fast these days.

I tend to think longer term than most I guess.
