So I wanted to continue our discussion about what you think Judaism is all about, and I sat down with my Rabbi over lunch and showed him the links to the news stories and the quotes from the Talmud, since I was truly interested in what these things were all about. We ended up in a long discussion. (He's a very cool and funny guy, you would probably like him... Kind of a twisted sense of humour actually! 
). Obviously I'm no talumdic scholar, nor was I completely sure about the Rabbinical setup in Israel, so it was really cool to find out the whole picture.
Anyway, I wanted to get you guy's email or phone number or whatever so I could talk to you guys about what he said....
