You can't trust anyone who believes in God

the more religious someone is, the less I trust them.

for example, catholics can do whatever they want and god will forgive them as long as they confess their sins sure....

Whenever I see this guy on TV he looks outraged... in this photo he looks like he's about to be outraged.

Organized religion that praise & bow down to a super being are coping out on their own life and actions. Whenever they do something "wrong" in life, they look for forgiveness from some other entity instead of forgiving themselves and their actions.


Here are two thought processes.

" I slapped my wife, please forgive me lord."

or

" I slapped my wife, I really fucked up and need to look within myself to fix this so it never happens again."

Which do you think would have a better outcome? I can not remember his name, but their was a man that did studies that connected the highest religious communities with the highest degrees of abuse, divorce, drug abuse, etc...

People are free to be any religion they want, I would not judge someone for being Catholic or Muslim, etc...because when it comes down to it, this has to be judged on a person to person basis.

All organised religions are about controlling peoples minds. Their body can be controlled by fear, their mind by fear as well. The fear that god will not be happy with what they're doing and take revenge, in this life by making the crops fail, no rain, too much rain, etc. Or the next life, by barring entry to heaven or making them come back as a bug.

Then there's the money aspect. No one was bothered with Jesus, until he got busy kicking out the merchants in the temple. Never ever fuck with the money making aspect of religion.

Believing in god because of the creation myth is like believing a jigsaw isn't a picture because of some missing pieces. If god created the World, why did he do such a lousy job of it?

Throughout the evolution of the World and it's species Darwin is proved right, god is proved (if he exists) to have got it wrong time and time again. Did he create so many creatures that didn't make it.

Live with the fact we're a planet we still don't understand everything about and in an enormous cosmos we still don't understand everything about.
