I actually do believe that he really wanted to run, what good is getting some ratings to a TV show good for if the end result is coming across as a douchy, right-wing idiot?

But after Obama owned him with the birth certificate issue and captured Osama, Trump (probably rightfully so) felt it impossible to beat him.
