And what is cam traffic exactly, traffic coming from msn type ads? Without them coming straight from a cam site how do you know when traffic is "cam traffic"? Besides SE of course.

That's because Cams are doing ok if you know what you're doing. If you just blindly send traffic to cam sponsors you won't do quite as well.

It's all about targeting, if you target your sponsors to the right kind of surfer you will do ok. For example it's useless targeting a surfer with general cams if they are only looking for gay cams, or to be even more precise, no use displaying a live cam feed of a MILF to someone looking for an innocent looking teen. Unless you have a returning, regular userbase your chance to convert that surfer is gone for good.

Traffic is too valuable to squander on mismanaged targeting, the better you are at targeting and selling to the surfers the better your results will be.

If you're not blogging and typing up tons of relevant text you won't earn much just starting out. The way the industry is now you will probably get burned out before you start making enough to make the effort worth it.

I agree. Watching a live girl/guy and being able to direct the show, direct the model how you want is something no video, no site, no tube can reproduce. I've phased out almost everything else and promote cams more than anything these days.

The best advice I can give is start out with about three. Trying to get started with one and waiting for sales can be stressful. Mix in a cheap 99 cents per minute service like livepimpin.

Well yeah, that really goes for anything. I guess it's just like promoting anything else? Only thing I'm confused about is what cam traffic is.
