That is common procedure for the Governor to declare state of emergency, call up the guard and try to put them to use vs waiting on a PRIVATE company to start trying to clean up. Also, that wasn't a paid job and it was via BP, that was the govt sending in national guardsman. That has nothing to do with what we talking about. I am talking about you taking a job from BP (the company you hate so much but yet you were jumping to go to work for them and take their money) that should have gone to a fisherman instead of an adult designer.

You know, when you put your name on the list right away and then shortly after got hired. What was that, July last year. When you started it was all over the news how there were a ton of fisherman trying to get on with BP and there was a long waiting list (AND I KNEW PEOPLE personally) that were fisherman and still waiting to be hired from BP. You took someone else's spot. July 2010. It was several months after that before they kept hiring down the list and getting to all of the out of work fisherman.

So you point to an article where the national guard was called in a couple days after the oil spill happened (april) which is common practice for governor to do after an emergency and that was done by the state and the soldiers weren't paid by BP. You also point to an article where a couple months ago BP hired some inmates. That was way at the tail end when most of the work was over, and most likely the really shit work that was left that no one wanted to do.

Keep trying sport, nothing will change the fact that you are a dick and used your daddy to get a good paying job that should have went to the people who were affected by the disastor.

And for the record, I did a lot more than you. Instead of stealing money out of fisherman's pockets by taking a job that was for them I gave money to ones I knew that were still waiting to be hired, I donated food and clothes to the ones that were still waiting to be hired.

- Marines quit because the work was so hard, but Fletch kept on kicking ass.

I'm honestly not trying to ride your ass here like Will. My initial post was all in fun.. But inmates aren't hired. They are made to work or they don't get early releases and the only reason they are paid is if not it would be 1. illegal and 2. states pay all inmates to work so all inmates have money to buy necessary items while in jail to cut back on theft and everything that revolves around that. Such as someone getting killed for stealing. Also in a case such as this where they are paid (if they were) by a private company they most likely had to pay the jail for room and board.
