i was watching a tv show and there was a man that was talking about a lesbian. he said it was a hairy woman that was manly and it bothered him.

so the judge asked him if he was homophobic this is a term ive heard gay people say. are most gay people able to diagnose a phobia??

phobia is defined as a persistent fear of an object or situation in which the sufferer commits to great lengths in avoiding despite the fear.

is it automatic fear if you disagree with someones gay lifestyle?

this is a serious question no troll shit.

I read your question a good 3x, but i don't know how to answer. I'm not gay so i guess i don't really understand what you are trying to ask.
"is it automatic fear if you disagree with someones gay lifestyle?" I always noticed that most gay dudes hang with gay dudes and most shemales hang with other shemales. What do you think?

the term is applied pretty liberally to mean someone who has a dislike to homosexuals in general, not just fear. Although I'm sure someone could claim any dislike = fear.

Some homosexuals apply the term 'reverse homophobia' inside the gay community as well -- to refer to those gay men who have a dislike for the stereotypical gay guy who's flamboyant and wears name brand everything. And the opposite -- some gay men who look down on other gay men that do not wear name brand everything, and aren't hip, fashion with a nice body etc

Unfortunately, if you disagree with someone else's agenda, you are instantly labeled as either being full of hate, or sick (as in having a phobia). I couldn't care less if someone is gay or not, but I really get pissed off when someone calls me a hater or sick if I dare to disagree about something on their agenda. It's in the same vein as labeling anyone that doesn't like Obama's policies as "racist"

I don't know how to answer your question either. Want to try and reword it, maybe?

I know there's a gay guy who doesn't like hairy lesbians, then something to do with phobias and fear.

EDIT: Nevermind, read the replies. In this day and age, unless you're some hardcore Christian living in the bible belt, saying you hate gay people is the same as saying you hate blacks. Not exactly socially acceptable anymore.
