good tires for honda civic?

Just wondering if anyone has some suggestions for tires for a honda civic. the car came wth bridgestone turanza, which were decent. i've also been looking at bf goodrich g super sport and the g sport but it seems like every tire out there has some bad reviews. are there any other good ones in that price range?

Tiger Paw's are pretty decent if your not going for high performance. I had them on my civic when I was younger. They are cheap but decent. Check out Pep Boys, they usually have some buy 3 get 1 free deal

With tires it's all about where you drive, how you drive and what you're expecting from your tires.
I try to balance performance with mileage and how many miles I can put on them. I use to put toyos on everything, they handle great in the rain.

think about that

That's just weird.

I spent much of yesterday reading reviews and ratings for a new set of tires for my Civic which also came with Bridgestone's. I think I'm just going to go with Goodyear Eagle RS-A's. They seem to be rated highly for pretty much everything but ice, but unfortunately I did not see a mileage warranty for them anywhere.

Hope it is not a Hybrid, I fucked up got new rims and tires, found out the stock rims are special for the hybrids and are $600-$800, I didn't keep them either.

tirerack.com has a ton of reviews. And you could check out revscene.net to see what the punks prefer.

I bought tires from Wheelsnext.com when I bought the 19's I had on the last car. If I recall correctly, I paid something like $140 per 19" tire, which is SUPER cheap and they handled great, hooked well enough for a 550hp car and the only downside was a little bit of noise.

You could probably get cheap tires from there, for a civic all you need to worry about is mileage and noise.

Continentals are great in the dry but not so good in the wet...

Personally, Toyos have always been a favourite on my cars, also Jap cars, Nissan though. Primeras, Bluebird turbo & now the Skyline.
