Got a Heavyweight Title Fight

Yep, that leg hanging out wasn't the brightest ... but it happens. I've done the same thing to a lot of people, so it was finally MY time to take the beating, haha.


If I fight again, yep!


A couple of things, from my perspective. First, when I do the flying head kick, do you see how OPEN he is (right before he turns his head and spits)? I should have let my leg go and smacked him with it. Second, I obviously should have snapped the leg kick, not left it open to be grabbed. And third, those shots to the back of the head are what knocked me out -- somehow, I got up after the GNP, but getting hit in the back of the head just took it all out of me. You don't really see how brutal the FINAL shot is (it snapped my neck around, causing the neck brace, etc) ... but the promoter's video will probably show it.

You should work on your boxing. Forget the karate kid style kicks and the side kick, they looked like they lacked power and it was slow enough for him to grab it and go for GNP.

Learn from it and get back on the ring. Takes courage to do what you do and sure everyone wants to win but shit happens.

Haha, well, the kicks are what have gotten me some of my knockouts, but I usually don't bring them out until the opponent is gassed. This guy I didn't want to trade fists with because he's got four championship belts from four different promotions, and is known to have just unbelievable power in his hands. And he's a great guy to boot!
