UPDATE: So, due to an injury for Wesley, my opponent has now changed. I'm now fighting Carter Fox (11-7-0). Still a heavyweight title fight. One of us will walk out of the cage with the belt on and our arm raised.

I trained four weeks (7 week camp) for the previous opponent by concentrating on take-down defense (he has 4 years of BJJ, I do not). For this guy, he likes to stand and bang. It'll be an interesting one, that's for sure. At the end of the day, one of us is going to walk out of that cage wearing the championship belt.


Yeah. I keep getting the "we sent them to the AV guy to be processed" line, unfortunately. The last two took 800 years (give or take) to come out. This time, I'm having someone I trust tape it, instead of replying on the promotions ... although I will say that THIS promotion usually does a good job of bringing the DVDs out quickly.

I keep them off of YouTube so I don't get scouted, but I'll post the results of this fight to somewhere so GFY can take a look at me getting my ass handed to me or vice versa.


Come step into the cage and come take my belt from me. I'm not a fan of the pre-fight shit-talk, but I'd be happy to talk to the promoter about setting something up.

Danza does something completely different than me, though. He's a pro fighter who has had matches against "named" opponents. I'm a nobody slugging it out in amateur against guys who might or might not train, might or might not do it seriously, and might or might not step into the cage ready.

This may also be the only title fight I ever get, so we'll see what happens.
