Looking for advice, leaning towards jwplayer at the moment (as it has some of the features we want/plugins), but also seriously considering flowplayer.

IMHO, JWPlayer is better for novice users and/or experience people who wants to use a very good yet basic player (I mean without plugins and further customization). Flowplayer is better for those looking for way more features, more power and less server load on multiple video player environments. Just in case, what I meant is that the real difference I see is JWPlayer is more convenient for simple fast loading pages (when using only 1 player) and it's easier to setup. Flowplayer is like 100x more customizable and way faster on advanced setups. Plus, I've found that when you start to tweak JWP it becomes more and more unstable and it starts to take a lot of resources, while FP is slightly heavier on simple setups, but it doesn't have many problems if you add 100 instances of FP (JWP will probably not even work at that point). And on multisite environments sharing the same database or if you use AJAX or any kind of parallel loading, FP has no rival at all.
