It connects and works fine for a while... (10 mins to 1 hour)... then it stops transmitting... Its still connected to the wifi signal...but nothing is sent/received.

I have to disable wifi/re-enable for it to reconnect...

    Anyone else seen this?

Same here. Very annoying. What happens next is that you instead have to use your BW from your phone provider - Win situation for them...

I do not have this issue with my iPad, however a girlfriend of mine has this issue with her iPhone 3GS while using the wifi hotspot at our local brasserie (tavern)

I just put it down to the fact it was a wifi hotspot, that maybe they were booting her from the network after X number of minutes of inactivity??

I had it with the Ipad at home before. Moving to a different wireless channel on the WIFI router solved it.

I've tried different channels and just about every other option on the router.

Does anyone here use WIFI with iPhone/iPad at home with NO ISSUES? If so, What brand/model of router do you have?

I could use the 3g connection for all my data, but there is a huge difference in the overall speed....and of the quality of the video compression. 3g is crap compared to WIFI.

I have an iPad before since I cannot use to call and send messages only email I sell it to my cousin, now I am using Samsung galaxy tablet.

When it comes to issue of wifi I have the same problem before it took just 30 minutes you can connect to wifi then stop receiving and sending data so what I did is not gonna buy those shit again after 4 to 5 months you are getting issue with those apple products.

I had the same thing happen to me when I changed from my Linksys WRT54G to a D-link DI 604.
My issue was that my Iphone and Ipad remained connected to the router, but the internet connection was gone intermittently. I tried to search the forums for a solution, none of them helped... then I turned off WEP/WPA/WPA2 security on the router and used the MAC filtering option instead... After a power cycle, no more lost internet connection. Let me know if that helps;)
