Come on, Mutt, that's an awfully broad generalization almost devoid of information. I have no connection to Vivid and have no reason to say anything positive about them, other than in the sake of fairness. Vivid has had a very successful business for many, many years and serves a market for those couples friendly softcore and hardcore feature movies that are broadcast on tv all over the world, and released on DVD and sold in other markets. I have no idea how well or poorly they are faring online, but not eveything in the adult business revolves around the paysite model.Comment

i'm talking as a consumer, i don't care about their financial success - my ISP/Cable company makes billions and they are the worst company on the planet with the shittiest products and services.

I don't know how long I got suckered into renting them, they always seemed to have the new faces so I kept renting. THEN one day I saw a different kind of box cover art, tons of little inset pics on the cover, not glamorous - it was Stagliano/Buttman, rented one, and it was awesome. I had discovered gonzo porn. I can't say I never rented another VIVID video because as time went on I began to understand how the biz worked, that VIVID had contract girls so if I saw a girl like Taylor Hayes I liked I had no choice but to rent her in a VIVID video if I wanted to check her out.
