As the ratio between porn buyers and porn surfers, could very likely be 1-5,000 it seems the reasons are very very hard to define by those selling.

It seems they think the answer is to put out more free porn.

The very very best the ratio is would be 1-1,000. Which means 999 don't see any reason to join.

something that u cant get for free, i.e. adult dating, swinger communities etc, facebook and that are all good for free communication but would u want to mix ur swinger mates with ur family on facebook?

What if you have special content that cant be found on any other website.. ?

Tubes still offer shitty clips, lowered quality.. resized, sometimes load slowly.

On forums you have to search, than you need the premium membership on the exact file sharing service the files are hosted on.. and there are tens of different file sharing sites.. so not so easy, unless you want to sped hours on the slow free download.

+ you can always monitor the biggest forums and send DMCA notices..

Its just easier. Spend 30 bucks and download everything on the whole site for a month, or spend hours scowering tube sites and megaupload looking for different scenes. If you're good about sending out DMCA take downs, only a handful of your content is going to be freely accessible at any one time.

This assumes your content is unique and compelling; if its interchangable with 10 other sites, there isn't much reason to buy.

The same old reasons still apply.

Let's say you like watching lesbians fuck each other. Great. You can go the tubes and find some good content, good enough to jerk to. And you can even watch the entire video for free, high quality and all. And chances are they'll have more from that same producer. But if you want to full effect, the pictures, the details.... You can only get that from the site.

Take Amateur Allure for example - The best oral content in our industry. You see a hot chick sucking off some cock in a video and you want more. Your tube site "might" have more of this chick. But if you want to see all of her videos, you have to go to Amateur Allure.

I know that most of the cheapskates can hit a tube site and be happy. Or they can hit google picture search and jerk off. And that's killed a good portion of our sales. But there is still money to be made.

Amount and diversity of free videos on tubes counts more for me than the hassle to close a single popup.
Click the video to fullscreen and you won't see any ad at all.
