Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that

All I can say is that without having seen the Star Trek remake, I hope they NEVER make the equivalent for The Next Generation. Hell, I wouldn't even mind if my all-time fave 5th Element was eventually redone to make a more accurate future, but TNG...I don't think I could fathom any redux of it. Couldn't see anyone as Jean-Luc Picard but Patrick Stewart, simple as that. A lot of the other characters were really well done by their actors too, but Patrick Stewart practically IS Jean-Luc Picard.
I'd like George Lucas go back and scrap the last 3 Star Wars movies he made and start over again.
The original 3 were classics, then those prequals were just terrible!

Watch it, it's actually a fun movie. It was well done.
I would kill to see Top Gun remade.... As gay as it seems today, this movie had a huge impact on me and ended up with me joining the Marines. I wanted to be "Maverick".
Remakes are supposed to be an updated "improved" version that is a tribute or otherwise a compliment to the original, but in so many cases they are simply insults and flat-out failures. I can only think of a very few remakes that I thought were worthwhile and well-done. The remake of Dawn of the Dead comes to mind here. It at least did the original some justice.
On the whole I'm not much of a fan of remakes.
If the remake of Red Dawn turns out to be well-done, well-written, well-casted, and doesn't suck then I may approve of that one. But for the most part the Original classic movies that are WORTH remaking are mostly works of art that should be left alone to stand as they are.... classics.
I'd like to see Sam Raimi do a big budget Evil Dead movie, just to see how it would turn out. I liked Drag Me To Hell, you could definitely see the Evil Dead influence in that movie.
He's been talking about it, but Bruce Campbell said he's out / not gonna do it again. Can't blame him, I mean, Evil Dead 2 is essentially a bigger budget / redo of Evil Dead. 3rd time around might be too much for the guy.

They did, and it was awful. Toss up between which was worse- Jason and the Argonauts with Jeremy London or Clash of the Titans with whats his nuts from avatar and terminator 3.

I guess I'd like to see someone redo Suburbia. I know there was another movie made later on with that name, but it wasn't really a remake. I'd like to see a facelift of Suburbia that stays somewhat faithful to the original characters and themes.

ya a bunch of us watched this at a buddy's house last week sitting at his poolside bar. the videography was pretty basic and the acting was bad by today's standards. the music was awesome tho. would love to see a remake.

... as long as they keep homoerotic volleyball and a cover version of "Playin' with the Boys" for the background.
