He probably couldn't get to a gun if he was hooked up on his dialysis and anyway as for the kid, I don't know what kind of parent he was, but I wouldn't exactly take my kids to a terrorist camp. It's kind of like asking for trouble, not that I have been to one knowingly, but I do know that guns, grenades and rifles aren't laying around at Disneyland. Surely the emphasis should be on what a bad mother and father they are taking their kids to places that are likely to be the venue for a frickin firefight and raising them there. Haven't they heard of boarding schools the cheapskates. Deserved to be shot just for that.

Bottom line --- it was a legal kill. Armed or un-armed. Obama did not want him captured. Can you imagine the extra shit he would have to deal with if the Elvis of terrorists was paraded around the US court system and all over TV? Alive, Bin Laden still has power over his flock. Good. They should have offed everyone in the house, women and children included. Maybe even the neighbors for assisting in hiding him. The US military does shit like this every day in various locals around the world. Why should Osama and family be spared, armed or not? Kill them all, let Allah sort 'em out.
There are some situations where you go all out, and this was one of them. And they need to release the photos or I'm calling shenanigans.
To play devils advocate, I'm sure they could have pulled a wealth of info from him eventually if they would have taken him alive, which they could have done if they really wanted to.
