I just used it on another forum, because it seems that 'adult' in the domain name causes a nofollow attribute to be automatically attached. Since most shorteners use 301 redirects which still pass link juice it seemed like a good idea.

I Know the goo dot gl won't allow ref links, so it's use is limited to "real" URLs - but it's shorter now than the bit dot ly and a couple others.

i don't like clicking those kinds of links. i see them all over now but in the past they were most often used by scammers and people using free hosting.

i feel the same way, i notice i barely click them as opposed to normal links.

but tracking clicks is a nice feature, i knew that but forgot about it.

i use it for ease, that way i dont have to remember long links, i can make links like domain.com/go/teensforcash goto my tour link.
