I bet mostly MLB totals and do ok. That is a lot of plays in a month, how are you betting? Underdogs, small favorites, etc?

Actually do the same, only totals here as well. Averaging -107 on odds. Using only my simulators do make the plays. Invested in a player oriented database earlier this year so I've increased the number of bets a lot this year compared to earlier. (only did 195 investments in 2010).

      Yourself?

I'm a one play a day kind of guy, and for me it is now more of a hobby than anything else. I still manage to stay around 55% for totals throughout the year if i keep it low volume. I don't have a lot of time to cap games so I don't bet like I used to. I have a buddy that runs a bunch of sportsbetting sites and I was doing his picks and write ups for MMA and boxing, but it got to the point where I just didn't have time for that anymore, either.

I seem to recall you had a picks website, are you still doing that? Nowadays it's tough to make money selling picks and trying to police the RX and all the other forums from posting them. My buddy has gone the route of giving out his picks for free in a newsletter, and then using that database to upsell sportsbook accounts and picks from pregame.com...

Sure takes a lot of time doing research and keeping up. Actually placed my first ever MMA bet this weekend (Henderson) but that was a tip from an avid supporter, have no clue about the sport what so ever myself.

I've still got SportsProfit.com yep. It makes decent enough money as I'm placing the bets myself anyway. I still gotta do the work so fair enough to post them afterwards. Can understand your buddy though, it's not the easiest thing in the world to sell and keep clean!
