Wow, flashback. Yeah, we went to the 84 Olympics too. I remember watching women's field hockey and something about Mary Lou. My daughter was almost two, and I remember an autographed photo for her, but I don't remember the circumstances of how that came to be.

I was part of something at Disney World and members of the Olympic team were as well.

It was pretty cool as an 8 year old to see them in person.

Ah yes, the year I turned 21, I remember it well. In 1984 I finished with college, started working at the 2nd largest hospital in the city and instantly had over 3,000 nurses and female staffers to mine for dates. Was still driving my old '74 Malibu (still was in mint condition), had a 920 CC v-twin cruising bike (jap, not HD, sorry BD)

and I had no idea that video existed. I was more of a Tom Petty/VH/Priest/Rush/Led Zep fan and would have either tossed the TV out the window or more likely...turned the channel if I'd had the misfortune to run across that.

I was in the Army from 1980 to 1992.

I used to visit my sister who lived in Key Biscayne. Miami was really ROCKING back then. There was a great '60's dance club called Biscayne Babies. I remember wall to wall pretty scantly clad girls and one night I danced with Sigourney Weaver. She was VERY tall.

I was in high school, listening to heavy metal pertty much 24/7; there was a point, when there was a real war b/n "metals" and "brakers" and I mean you would go out and see two large groups beating the crap of each other, just like soccer fans do now
