    Email marketing...Timing Question?

I have my old subscriber list and wanted to send them an email blast to introduce my new program. I have demos and live samples on my website. I have nearly 11,000 subscribers. The question I have is this:

Should I send out the email blast tonight (Friday) so prospective clients have the entire weekend to review what I offer or should I wait until start of business on Monday to send it out? I wanted to send it out tonight (Friday) but then again, I want the impulse buys. I want people to call me or sign up as soon as they receive the email. If I send it tonight, people may forget it about it by Monday.

If you have any experience with email marketing, what option would you suggest?

      Correct.

During the week is a better delivery time in general. There are plenty of places you can read up on this. Just make sure your privacy policy is in line if you are emailing them for anything that they did not agree to. Like sending them offers of interest.

      Good luck sire.

I worked with an email marketing company before in the past and thats pretty spot on, however best results are Tuesday to Thursday from around 10am in the receivers timezone until no later than 4pm, assuming it falls into the "mainstream product" category.

For example, if you are selling clothes or a product/service then you want the email to come in when the person is in front of their computer, versus dating/escort you send later in the day on Thursday/Friday.

From what I remember, Mondays and Fridays are the worst times to get reaction as many people dont check emails over the weekend and Friday they are not willing to commit to anything new because its the "end of the week"

My mainstream stuff gets the best response when sent on Tuesday and Wednesday. I normally send it out around 11am.
