        looks like the storms took them offline, but didnt effect the plant itself in terms of cooling the rods. thats how problems start, when the water is not cooled and the rods burn up all the water... then boom time!

          Nothing like Japan other than they lost outside power.

          The reactors in Japan that had all the problem are actually quite an old design. Even still they held up fairly well, unfortunately when the backup power generators were lost, there were no more backups.
