but they gave back the domain, that's what matter, US players who WANT to play can still play with a few workarounds.... Losing US players isn't as big of a hit as losing your main domain.

Seems as if it would be fairly easy to get around if you had someone you could trust in country where it was legal, ie the EU. Setup an account with that persons name, add a computer at his location, use pc to go to play and connect from the states to that EU computer. This would be a pain for the casual player but I would do this if I made my living this way.Comment

Nobody is talking about it, but I'm sure people are doing it. Too many people were making a living from those sites to just sit around and do nothing. I know some people in management over at FTP and they are in no way as organized as Stars is with their finances. I think Stars will pay within weeks (maybe even withint he week). FTP wont pay for a long time if ever. FTP is having MAJOR problems right now.

This doesn't surprise me as Poker Stars has always been the top in all areas from customer service to payouts. Also from what I heard, they kept all player funds in a completely separate bank account (kind of like how a casino has cash to cover all chips in play).
FTP has always been a distant second to Stars in terms of US friendly poker sites and definitely wasnt ready for what happened.Comment
