Have you guys checked for a Trillian update? Every few years ICQ changes their protocol and the clients need to be updated.

The Russian ICQ spammers found a way to send any user authorization declined messages, if you look at the auth messages they contain a URL, they probably hope people are stupid enough to open the URL

Where would the URL be coming up? One of my design people has been getting these things all the time, but, when he showed it to me, it was just a weird declined bubble.

It depends on the client you are using. If you use Audium / Pidgin it shows a decline window on the screen, which contains a URL.

I think they send it to random numbers, and hope some of them are using clients that will display the decline message on the screen.
