What, in your opinion and experience, is the best type of traffic you can generate for making sales? Google/SEO? Blogs? TGPs? Tubes? What kind of traffic do you feel is the most valuable?

SE and/or Google Adwords. I once made about $1500/month on the keyword teensforcash. I peaked one month at that. Back about 3-4 years ago. It was a fun gig while it lasted.

Lots of competition there now for an affil and most progs no longer allow traffic from Adwords but certainly as a payop Adwords is where you need to be if you are not already.

I see that your site FB is not being bid on. You should be snagging that traffic thru Adwords as well as the serps. Why not, it dont get much better than that.

Review sites, sites made with TLC, even straight link lists if they are original with great links....

I would say it would depend on the content. On tubes, Pink Visual isn't going to stand out with all the other reality content compared to a site that is in the female farting niche. True story, this was discussed at the seminar I did at the Phoenix Forum.

I vote affiliate traffic however they gain it. That's from a program pov though.

Great tips Vjo!! And yes, back from Fla but not lovin' it since NYC has been sucking ballz weather-wise pretty much since I got back a month ago. Sigh. Not as bad as Mini Soda tho so can't complain. Playa.

Because I figured affiliate traffic must come from somewhere, like a Blog or a TGP or a free site, etc. It's not like affiliates have traffic sitting there in their pocket. LOL Their traffic has to be generated and come from SOMEwhere.

Well, that truly depends on the affiliate, now doesn't it? I have hundreds of affiliates and TB prolly has thousands, but only a tiny percentage send any kind of consistent sales. Tho I love ALL my affiliates, of course!

Back years ago I was pulling in around $8k/mo easily with AdWords and spending about $2k/mo on media (no one ever tells you how much they spends on ads).

I stopped pushing AdWords so much about 2 years ago once conversion ratios started to drop and I'm not comfortable pushing $4k-$5k in ads to generate $7k to $8k in revenue. Been burned before by some companies and thats to big of a risk IMO

SE traffic has always converted the best for me. I strongly believe that when someone comes to your site from another TGP/Blog/Tube, then they probably came from 1 or 100 others looking for free content and is a lot harder to sell to.

Yes, it does depend on the affiliate and you are correct that a small percentage makes up the majority of the sales. We have not had as much success running our own internal traffic networks like the WMs do.

And yes, sometimes a few phrases, pics or stories do remind me what I do and then I shake my head with a smile.
