    automatic photo rotation

Hey, I am in desperate need of a auto-matic photo rotation program that doesn't need exif data to rotate... I have like 200,000 older photos that I never published from spring breaks past and rotating by hand sucks too hard...

So maybe a program that can rotate based on photo content?

Cool brotherman, hitting you up now. Mind you, keep this thread bumped... has nothing to do with your answer.

Thanks for the ideas, but I don't think that imagemagick or infranview do any batch rotating of images based on content

Sorry to say you're gonna hafta do them by hand without EXIF data. Or pay someone to do them by hand.

here's the solution, and its free
                      download FastStone Image Viewer

and here is how to do it: http://i.min.us/im9vlG.png

                      PS:
Forgot to mention that this program also does rotate pictures automatically when you are previewing them (on the fly)
and using function above you can permanently rotate them...

Do you need all the images rotated to a specific degree? For example all images rotated 90 degrees clockwise?

I can do this for you...all your 200,000 images for $50

they aren't all sideways, or the same direction for that matter though

Oh ok, well I can still rotate them all if batches of the images have the same rotation requirement (for example, 1000 images need 90 degree clockwise, 500 images need 45 degrees counter-clockwise etc).

But if each image needs it's own unique rotation requirement, than that might need manual labor.
