    Wire Transfers?

    I've never had to use one before, but I've got someone asking to send me some money

    Some of you guys use them all the time, so is there any advice you can give? The guy sounds fine and everything, but it doesn't mean I'd send out the details if it could leave me vulnerable

    This is what I've been asked for, is it all safe to give out? Even if there's a 1% or 0.1% risk I would look for another method. From having a glance at the info I've been asked for it's more than I would feel comfortable giving out

    Bank detail needed:
    Country / Territory
    City
    Bank
    Bank Address*
    Bank No.*
    Account No.
    (Please omit spaces in the Account No.)
    Account Holder's Name
    Account Holder's Address*

      you should know from where is money coming (what country), then visit your bank and ask for wire codes, scan them, send to them

          Also, if it's not in the same country, international wires have to pass through a third/intermediary bank like Wachovia - important info, that...

                          I would not give your own address. Bank address is sufficient. Ive always wondered when paying by ACH on lets say a paysite if someone had all that info you listed they could hit your account.

                              and if what you posted is Verbatim. What is Bank no? I assume he means routing number or swift code. But that alone is fishy to me that he does not use correct terminology.
