PR and Alex are important
the PR or page rank does matter somewhat. PR is googles way of letting you know that it is an authoritative web page and with their new rules, some folks are getting stripped of link juice and punished getting dropped down in keyword searches a lot. Just as important of PR is the alexa rank which considers the amount of web traffic that particular site gets. you can have a low PR site but with high alexa numbers, you will be able to charge more for advertising. There are many things to look at but these are just the main two i deal with as an SEO specialist. Any questions or concerns feel free to contact me.

I had several PR4's and in the 2009 update (or so) they took 1 PR point from all porn sites and now they are all PR3.
As stated above the majority of my money comes from PR1 sites with Alexa rankings of 600,000 to 2,500,000.Comment

Most of mine are PR0-2, but it doesn't bother me what they are as long as they make bank.
My highest is a PR4 and it's a full RSS fed splog which doesn't make much money at all. But as it wasn't set up for sales that's ok.Comment
