YNOT Grand Prix Crowns First Speed Demons

PHOENIX, Ariz. ? The YNOT Grand Prix series of adult webmaster kart races crowned its first group of winners Friday during the Phoenix Forum in Tempe, Ariz. More than 60 drivers competed for trophies and points that will figure into their standings at the season?s end.

After four qualifying heats and one final, the top finishers were:
First Place: Wolf, representing 2000Charge
Second Place: Alex, a member of Team Mobile, sponsored by TopBucks Mobile
Third Place: Chris, representing Way3 Hosting

"These are the guys to beat at the next event," said YNOT Group LLC Vice President LAJ. "They're vicious competitors, and they're looking to leave tire tracks all over the competition."

According to Way3?s Chris, the competition was fierce, but friendly.

?We really had a great time at the YNOT Grand Prix,? he said. ?The event provided a great atmosphere for fantastic entertainment with a competitive edge, all while allowing you to further network with others in the business. We appreciate YNOT's efforts to put this event together and look forward to taking First Place instead of Third Place at the next event. Thumbs up to the YNOT crew for a memorable experience.?

The YNOT Grand Prix series offers both team and driver championships. Divided into groups, competitors complete a 10-minute practice session and a 10-minute qualifying session at each event. Then the top drivers move on to the final.

In the final, grid position are determined by fastest lap times during the qualifying heats, with drivers taking their positions on the starting grid according to their times. Pole position goes to the driver with the fastest qualifying time. The first driver across the finish line wins.

?I feel that the YNOT Grand Prix was one of the fun highlights for many at this year's Phoenix Forum,? LAJ said. ?With over 60 drivers competing for the trophies and fastest race times, this event was a great way to get some aggression out, as well as bond with industry peers. We left before the last heat and only found out later that both members of PimpRoll made it to the final. I'm sure one of us would have won it lol
