I downloaded Worms:Armageddon to the Xbox360 last weekend and had a great time blasting away my man's team for an hour or two. Funny how the $5 games can be more enjoyable than the $70 games sometimes.

Playing a lot of 'Gun Game' and 'One in The Chamber' on Black Ops lately. Looking forward to picking up the new Red Faction shortly...

Crysis 2....take the ride. It's spectacular. There are some action set pieces in some very familiar New York city landmarks that put any movie to shame. As someone who has walked through Grand Central station hundreds of time, I can tell you it looks exactly the way its supposed to, and there's a kick ass fight in there. The stuff that happens on the Queensboro bridge will blow your mind.

On the PS3, I recently played Bulletstorm(fun) and started Killzone 3 with the move Sharpshooter controller.

On my radar is Red Faction Amrageddon.

red faction yep and red dead anymore im into 3rd person games just finished vanquished kind of like a gears of war type.

PCer here. Playing Mass Effect at the moment, great game I must say. Before that I spent some time playing Left4Dead 2, and before that L4D1 of course. Both good zombie shooters, and I really wasn't much interested in killing zomboes before trying those.

I'll be buying Mass Effect 2 shortly. Like I said, the first one is pretty great. Great story, every engaging, lots of replay value. Single player RPG though, probably not for everyone.

I HATE playing any FPS's or RTS's on my consoles. I stopped buying those years ago. I'm holding out for Diablo III on the PC, and L.A. NOIR on the console.

I loved Red Dead, and I've recently played NFS Hot Pursuit - but if any game needs precise movement, I much prefer my PC and its trackball.

For PS3, I'm basically grabbing the free games from Playstation Plus. For serious shooters, I'll play them on my PC.

I picked up Crysis 2 for the 360 last night and played the SP for a couple hours.
I've been playing the COD games for so long it's a bit of an adjustment to get into the sci-fi aspect of the weapons and shields and stuff. Got stuck in a battle for a bit and then I remembered that I had the invisible cloak thingy so I just activated that and walked right on by :)

Graphics and the settings are awesome and so are the battles. Sound is good but hearing your own footsteps is annoying because you stop but the steps keep coming and you think someone is coming up behind you. I played a few MP matches and it looks like it could be a lot of fun. I just didn't get into it long enough to figure out all the features. The MP maps were incredibly detailed.

Just a few hours in and it's got my full attention so I'm going to highly recommend this game :thumbsup

Just keep playing. The game gets better as it goes. Games like COD are cookie cutter, installment of the year BS. Crysis is art.

Always cloak before entering an area and make an assessment of where to strike first. Use your visor to tag targets, take cover when you're wrecked and allow power to recharge so you get back in the fight.

Played it some more last night and now I'm at the FDR driving some vehicle having a blast plowing through cars and shooting up everything in sight :)

I'm playing on a 50" plasma with surround sound sitting in a gaming chair with a buttKicker and the lights turned off. This game does an incredible job of creating a feeling that makes you feel like you are part of it. In other words the immersion factor is about a 10. It really draws you into the scene.

Another thing I really like about it is the way they give you several ways to approach your objective. I got in a fight on a city street and worked my way around running from cover to cover until I could get a good shot in and it was just plain fun.

I can't wait to get on it some more :thumbsup

Wait until you get to the Roosevelt Island stealth mission. You have no choice but to go stealth, and it's seriously fun planning your attack.
