No, you get $4k per month, but have to pay $1k rent out of it.

Basically you get paid $3k/mo.

Not to be offensive to anyone where but when did $4k a month for a job that requires you to be on-site become a "great opportunity"? It's $48,000 a year for a full time job. I don't know ... just doesn't seem like that is all that much money. Maybe I just didn't understand how little an artist makes or something.
