Cheapest SSL cert that works with all browsers?

The title says all... I need an SSL certificate that works with all browsers and is as cheap as possible. I bought $35 certs from GeoTrust 2 years ago but I can't find them at that price anymore and with other cheap certs I'm paranoid that they don't work with FireFox or other browers. Went through that crap with RapidSSL certs years ago.

All suggestions appreciated.

I just bought a Comodo SSL cert from Namecheap. $8.95 and works in 99.3% of all browsers.

Godaddy also has SSL certs, and I have coupons at the site in my sig for $11.99 I think.

Those are the cheapest that I know of.

Don't buy GoDaddy SSL certificates. They give your an intro price of $12.95 or similar (it always changes) then bang your credit card for over $50 after that on an automated renewal. The sick thing is they do it way before the SSL certificate is about to expire.

I currently use RapidSSL.com and am pleased with the price and browser support.

Yup, the Comodo SSL from Namecheap works in every browser I've tested it with.

Thanks for the warning even though I would simply cancel such a charge at my bank, and info but are you sure RapidSSL doesn't give a warning anymore in FireFox?

That's funny I have been using godaddy certs for years and never once have they overcharged me. You must have used a coupon or some promo.

All SSL providers have the EV certs that show the green bar but they are more expensive and take a few day to set up. I'm actually going through this process with GeoTrust and their sites say it takes 2 days but it's taking more then a week now already that's why I'm getting a cheap cert for one site now, to keep things going.

Red is for invalid or expired certs.

Blue is for the certs that only verify domain ownership. This is what the cheap ones, like Godaddy, Netsol, and the PositiveSSL / RapidSSL ones use.

Green is for the extended validation certs. These are the ones that take days/weeks to get, and the company verifies not only your domain but the company behind it as well.

I installed my RapidSSL cert and it's working great guys, thanks for all the help. I was surprised I remembered how to do it in cPanel because last time was 2 years ago, also namecheap.com has a page where you go to after you installed the cert and it will tell you if you did it right or not. Funny that RapidSSL certs are much more expensive on their own company's site (GeoTrust). Thanks again, it's really great to be on this site.

Oh and yes, it might be not as secure now as before, but then again it's still an extra layer of security in not secure world.

And yes I know I have to be PCI complaint. My payment provider keeps bugging me about that and I really need to look into it before they get inpatient with me.

And sales was good today, it's good to do our own processing again instead of relying on the credit card processor that declines 50% of all credit cards in the world because they are suffering from severe chargeback paranoia disease :-) We NEVER had a chargeback from these countries that are blacklisted by all these dumb processors.
