I'd imagine tons of police have their military tattoos or even precinct specific tat's.

Each department is different, however Visible tattoos are considered unprofessional and most of the time not allowed.

If you have "Fuck da Police" on your forehead for example, you might have a hard time.

Depends on the dept. Many require they be hidden by the uniform. So, no sleeves or neck, hand, face tats.

that sound logical, tattoos allowed but to be under, just think police officer with big tattoo over face
