    Will NATO, to protect civilians, bomb the rebel forces ?????

    ... after all, it is their mandate to protect civilians in Libya ...

    Libyan rebels battling the remnants of Muammar Gaddafi's forces in his remaining stronghold of Bani Walid have given residents there two days to leave before a threatened assault.

    The warning came on Tuesday amid fears for the fate of civilians trapped in the last redoubts of Gaddafi, dislodged from power and now on the run after 42 years as leader of the oil-rich nation.
    ohhhhh, does not seem like it ... maybe those civilians are 'insurgents' ...

    Residents fleeing Bani Walid have reported days of intense firefights, and NATO warplanes were backing up NTC fighters with air strikes on pro-Gaddafi rocket positions.

      Who knows...But one thing you can count on is that no matter what happens over there it isn't gonna turn out well.

          I was wondering the same thing a few weeks ago when they were reporting that the "rebels" were killing "Qadafi sympathizers"

          It's obvious that the govt. killing "rebel sympathizers" was branded "slaughtering civilians", but the other way around is merely "troubling" to some in Washington.

          Bottom line? We stepped in and millions are now homeless and tens of thousands are dead. Same thing as Iraq and Afghanistan.

          I suppose when we want to scare a Muslim country all we have to do is offer to "help" lol
