OUCH!!! Burned By Brazzers Alleges Female Performer (Warning: Graphic Pictures)

I was hired by director Johnny Thrust aka ********** to shoot a boy/girl scene for Brazzers.com. Prior to the scene, during pretty girl stills, I was positioned in front of an older van. When Thrust was positioning me for stills, my left ankle rubbed against the side tail pipe of the van, resulting in a medium sized burn. At the time, we were in the mountains of Simi Valley.

I requested some kind of assistance, even a bottled water to pour onto the burn. Nothing was readily available. They told me the burn did not look bad, I should finish the scene (or not get paid, even a kill fee) and they would take me to get medical attention following.

The scene was completed. I was expecting to get medical attention, instead I was taken to Porno Dan?s studio for a first aid kit. I immediately requested to be taken home, as i merely consider this the proper medical attention necessary.

At that point, I went to a doctor on my own. Within 2 hours, the top layer of skin had started to bubble and bleed. If I had waited, I would have ran the risk of being exposed to bacterial infections, including the set, van, and studios where I was taken to following the injury.

My burn was second degree in severity and took a total of 6 weeks to fully heal. At that point, I was allowed to shoot 1 scene, at day 35 of my healing process. I suffered the loss of MANY shoots due to this injury. My agent at time of booking (type9) tried to communicate with Brazzers and Johnny Thrust, as well as myself, to no avail, almost 3 months later.

I still have a scar, which I currently am receiving laser therapy and skin grafts for, to minimalize the scars and such. I have an all natural body, girl next door look. I have 1 tattoo and had 0 scars, until now. All I asked for was assistance in the treatment and loss of work. I now have an attorney, and will proceed accordingly.

Just took my kid 2 weeks ago to the hospital because he knocked over a lamp and grabbed the bulb, burned his palm pretty good.

I could tell the lady was grilling me too, like... DID YOU DO THIS TO HIM??!%!?%@ hehe.

I once fell on a woodstove several hours from a hospital with both hands.. My dad didn't take me to a doctor, just ozonol and bandages for a week.. I developed like square inch thick pads of blisters on both palms, maybe 4 or 5 per hand. Had to cross country ski to get to the car.... Fun times.

I have already been out thousands in medical expenses. I lost over $10,000 in work when I was off. The laser and skin graft treatment will exceed $15,000.

Why couldn't whomever was in charge on the Brazzers set show some compassion and put the welfare of the performer first?

Some might argue that the responsibility/priority of a Producer/Director extends beyond getting content, to the welfare of those who are working for them (regardless of whether they are a regular employee or an independent contractor).

I don't know. If I was in charge, she would of got the medical attention first and then if she felt up to it, we would have finished the shoot. But, if I was her, I wouldn't expect anyone to take care of me, and if I was truly concerned, I would of put my own health before the money.

It sounds like she has been trying to contact them to resolve the issue for months now, since she has had to pay for her expenses out of pocket.

Do you have medical insurance?

I do have medical insurance, however, it does not cover work related injuries.

I also would have thought they would have a plan in place to escalate the issue right away to management and their insurance company, not only because it's the right thing to do, but since any kind of legal proceeding will likely cost Brazzers/Manwin even more money.

I'm a small company, yet still I carry millions in liability insurance in case of accidents, etc.

I was waiting for someone to say this. I expect the shooter doesn't. By refusing her hospital or first aid he will likely invalidate his insurance, if he had one.

If the shooter has money, simple answer is to sue him. He's responsible.

So you would of abandoned the shoot and taken her to a hospital. Yes and I'm seeing pigs fly over my house. That was the only option if they had insurance cover. We had it for models and it was stated very clearly for anything but the most minor problems the option was simple, hospital.

In law the shooter is responsible, he should of looked after her. It looks like this was on location, so did the model have transport to get to a hospital?

Needs a lawyer, who chose the model and location. Who was ultimately employing her, etc?

Advice to Manwin. Get lawyers stuck into this, pay the girl off, sack the shooter, instruct all shooters they must have insurance cover, check up on your insurance cover and liabilities. The insurance companies will instruct people how to react after an accident occurs.

The amazing thing is the shooter carried on shooting a girl who was obviously in pain and had a scar. What level of work was produced?

I've heard of a lot of production companies having a gofer filming the entire filming with a cheap consumer vid cam just in case. I've never done it...but have heard of it.

Looks as if they tried, but no to the satisfaction of the model. Been burned plenty of times, tail pipes, wood stoves etc. It's not a very pleasant thing to go thru, but it does heal after a while.
